History
Route 66 Cafe at the Market stands on historic Route 66, in a building that once housed Dorsey’s Fruit Market and Grocery in the 1960s. After decades of serving the community, the building eventually sat vacant for many years before being thoughtfully restored and brought back to life as a breakfast-and-lunch destination.
Since reopening, the space has continued its tradition of warm hospitality and scratch-made comfort food, serving locals and travelers alike. Today, Route 66 Cafe at the Market proudly carries that legacy forward—honoring the past while welcoming a new generation of guests. We’re grateful to be part of the history, heart, and community of Clinton, Oklahoma.
